We stand for peace, cooperation and international
solidarity. Wales should never be used to serve British
and US imperialism, war and exploitation.
Position outline
Communists say:
- Oppose imperialist wars and militarism, whether in Palestine, Venezuela, Ukraine, Iran or
anywhere throughout the world. - Remove all imperialist military infrastructure from Wales.
- Oppose the giant US ‘Deep Space’ radar base planned for Pembrokeshire.
The growth of far-right and fascist groups in Wales is linked to capitalism’s profits-first agenda which causes
division and conflict around the world. We oppose these developments at home and abroad, together with our allies in the communist, trade union, peace and women’s movements.
Solidarity Beyond Borders
Peace and internationalism mean building a fairer world based on cooperation, not conflict or exploitation.
Our vision:
A Wales where the Welsh language is accessible, widely spoken, and embedded in daily life.
Key priorities:
- Oppose imperialism a system that drives war, inequality, and environmental destruction
- Promote cooperation between nations, not competition for profit
- Support democratic control over decisions affecting our lives, economy and society
- Reject domination by central elites and their threats to sovereign nations
- Hands off Cuba and say no to a new cold war with China
- Strengthen solidarity between working people across borders
Why it matters:
- Global inequality fuels conflict and instability
- Wealth is too often concentrated among powerful elites
- Working people everywhere share common interests
The goal:
- Safety and security for the people through;
- A peaceful world rooted in fair economic systems, with strong international relationships built on mutual respect and solidarity.
