Morning Star distribution in Shotton

Morning Star distribution at Shotton, North Wales, 1st November 2025

1st November 2025
Shotton

Members of the North Wales branch of the Communist Party met in Shotton today to distribute The Morning Star to the public. The paper was warmly received by local residents, with all copies distributed within an hour.

The event brought together long-standing party veterans and new members, strengthening bonds between generations of activists. This collaboration reflects the branch’s ongoing efforts to foster cohesion and solidarity within the party; an essential task in an increasingly digital world.

The activity forms part of the branch’s broader campaign to re-establish itself as the voice of the working class in North Wales and to present a clear, progressive alternative to the rise of the far right.

Members also met with former branch secretary Glyn Davies, who shared his valuable experience and insights on party building, organisation, and effective local action. His contribution provided both inspiration and practical guidance for the branch as it continues to grow in strength and purpose.
