20th January 2026
Mold, Flintshire
The north Wales Branch of the Communist Party of Britain gathered on 20th January 2026 in Mold, Flintshire a landmark Annual General Meeting that marked the official re-establishment of the branch itself.
Members threw themselves into lively yet deeply comradely debate, shaping a renewed vision and setting out a bold, practical plan to drive the branch forward throughout 2026. Comrades stepped up, offering their skills and commitment, culminating in the election of a new team of officers, charged with putting the branch’s strategy into action.
A highlight of the AGM came with an inspiring address from Robert Griffiths. Robert Griffiths spoke passionately about the vital role branch members play in strengthening links with trade unions and international solidarity movements, grounding those efforts firmly within the broader context of revolutionary politics in Wales and across the UK.
His message was clear: the work of the branch is not only organisational, it is part of a wider struggle, a living movement, and every comrade has a role in shaping the workers movement.
